JANE SPENCE is a professional actor that has worked in theatres across Canada  including; The Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Mirvish Productions, The Grand, Orangeville theatre, Lighthouse Theatre, Bard on the Beach, Vancouver Playhouse, The Arts Club, Drayton Entertainment, York Theatre Festival, Theatre By the Bay, the Festival of Classics, Stage West, and the Poor Alex. She has also appeared in T.V. and film productions such as Outer limits, Stargate SG1, Sue Thomas F.B.Eye, and Cold Squad. After graduating with a B.F.A from the U of C, she was invited to be a member of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival Conservatory program and acting company.  She has been teaching for their education department since 2001. She assisted in the development of the Teaching artists course through which the Stratford Festival in conjunction with York University certify artists to teach. She designed and implemented an education program for the Festival of Classics.  She is currently the Education Coordinator for Shakespeare Link Canada and continues to run independent workshops. Recently she worked in Mozambique Africa where she performed in a production of  A Winter’s Tale.
